Nothing like waking up at sunrise to jump in the water with these two for their surfing engagement session. I’m always up for a challenge and balancing on a board with my new underwater camera housing was definitely a new one to add the list! Zarin and Talal’s first date was a surfing session and it’s a think they share together, so it only made sense to capture them in their element for their engagement photos.
At their wedding, Zarin asked me if I saw the news reports from our engagement session day. Turns out there were two great white sharks wandering in the very same waters we were shooting in. In fact, they ended up closing Bolsa Chica Beach down that day! Lucky for us, they didn’t bother us at all.
After surfing, we wandered around the cute town of Huntington Beach to some of their favorite places and snapped a few more photos. Hope you enjoy! Let me know if you spot any fins.
