Sarah + Reece

Photographing proposals is such a thrill. Being invited in to document treasured moments is what I love most about wedding photography, and proposals are like the pinnacle for me since it embodies such a life changing occasion. And this Pebble Beach proposal is extra special because I’ve known Sarah + Reece for years. I’ve actually photographed his sister and cousin’s wedding, so to be there for them on such an incredible day was such a joy!

Both of their families were over the moon excited. They’ve actually known each other for quite some time since Sarah + Reece have been dating since 8th grade and were actually each other’s prom dates. Reece decided to ask at the iconic Pebble Beach off of the scenic 17 mile drive as it’s a special place for them.

They went on a walk and he stopped as soon as they got to a bench where Sarah suspected something was happening. As he got down on one knee, she immediately started freaking out. Obviously she said yes and we snapped a few photos before heading to The Inn at Spanish Bay where she was surprised to find all of their families there to celebrate!

I also had the honor of taking over @HowHeAsked’s Instagram for a live Insta Story of the proposal. Check out all the photos and videos below and view the full feature on HowHeAsked here.

I cannot wait to photograph their wedding in 2018!
