I’m so lucky to do what I do because I’m invited to photograph such remarkable milestones in people’s lives. This baby gender reveal was for a dear friend and event coordinator, Leslie Kaplan of Encore Event Design. Her and Adam are having the first child, so they invited all of their close friends and family to Paradise Cove for “Sex on the Beach” where they opened a box to reveal to them and all their loved ones if they were having a baby girl or boy. As you can tell by the blue balloons, IT’S A BOY!!!! And the strangest thing happened, right as they were about to open the box, a blue kayak washed up on shore! Everyone exploded into cheers as the balloons flew out and I love that I was there to capture it all. Here are a few of my favorites from their special moment.
