Photographing proposals might possibly be my favorite thing ever!! And this one was super unique. Kevin met Ashley at an Irish bar in New York City while out with two of his good friends. That night, they all went to a gay bar and fell in love over some apple martinis. After years of dating, he decided to pop the question, so he called up their good friends and flew them to LA {where Kevin & Ashley now live} to recreate how they met.
He picked the infamous Roosterfish gay bar on Abbott Kinney and printed out a sign with the name of the Irish Bar where it all started. He had apple martinis ready to go on the table as he waited with his friends and their dog. Ashley walked into the bar and knew instantly what was happening. Kevin got down on one knee and asked Ashley to marry him with a gorgeous ring that he had custom made. She said yes and they celebrated with their friends and Ashley’s parents who surprised them at the bar a little while after. Here are a few of my favorite images!!
