I’m always excited when my couples want to incorporate adventure and something personal into their shoot, so when Alyson + Erickson brought up a sailing engagement session, I was all in! Sailing holds a special place in my heart because my family and I have been on many a crazy trip together on the water. And thank goodness I have my sea legs because this day was especially windy, so much so, that we debated going out on the water but Alyson + Erickson are troopers! So we braved the sea with Captain Dan and had the best time.
I’m not going to lie, I almost went overboard a few times but it was so worth it! A huge thank you to Sail San Diego for such an incredible experience. After surviving the bumpy ride, we headed over to La Jolla for some gorgeous beach shots of these two at Children’s Pool! Can’t wait for their wedding in August at The Dana Hotel in San Diego.
