This wedding is chock full of inspiration for y’all! So much so that Green Wedding Shoes featured their Santa Barbara wedding on the front page of their blog. The whole day and the couple who planned it embody California cool. Both Santa Barbara locals and surfers, they chose Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm to be close to the water and show off the natural beauty of the coast.
The bride looked 70s chic in her laced Rita Vinieris dress with bell sleeves, white snakeskin boots and braided blonde hair. And her ladies wore various shades of leopard print, which stood out amongst the crowd. That’s right, LEOPARD print!
Idlewild Floral incorporated surprising elements of cotton, magnolia leaves and pampas grass for a natural design effect executed to perfection by Wild Heart Events.
The bride arrived to the ceremony site in the groom’s family’s red vintage Mercedes convertible. After the ceremony and photos, the groom drove the couple to their reception in style.
During the ceremony, one of their favorite local artists, Chris Potter, live painted the gorgeous scene as they said their vows in front of all their favorite people.
The couple had their favorite food trucks cater the event and each guest bring their own plate so each setting would be unique and personal.
Every detail down to the customized cookies with their puppy Copper’s face on them showed off this fun couple’s personalities. Which is your favorite part? Which detail would you steal for your own wedding??
